Our fall trial was a trial and show combined. Our SVjudge was Daniel Thibault from Belgium. It was a great success. You can see the rest of the results under our results page. Our members did another great job hosting this event...

Our spring trial was a great success in June. Our judge was SV-USA Judge Johannes Grewe, the weather was extremely hot but most of us managed to be successful.

Richard Regan & Lexi von Amalaberg passed their BH exam.

George Zamfirescu & Questa von Amalaberg passed their BH exam.

Renee Lucescu & Halle van het Basjes Huis passed their BH exam.

Jacqueline Wojtowich & Beezie vom Beschutzer passed their BH exam.

John Steeves & Kae Zoe von Narnia received their first SchH title
and got SchH 1-1st place.

George Zamfirescu & Windd von Amalaberg receives SchH 2-1st place.

Renee Lucescu & Russo von Lucescu received SchH3- 1st place.
This team also received HIGH TRACKING (96), HIGH OBEDIENCE(92), HIGH PROTECTION(96) and HIGH IN TRIAL (284)

Andrea Zamfirescu & Yosefine von Bastillie, Frank Plesa & Aspan von Amalaberg, Samantha Hirst & Jake Affleck
& George Zamfirescu & Questa von Amalaberg all passed their endurance test (the AD).

Congrats to all of you, you've done an excellent job.....

2010 started out with an exceptional result at the Quebec Regional Championship in the SHOW. George and his kennel "Amalaberg" did really well winning all their classes.

Here is a picture of them getting V1 (with Windd) and V2 (with FILOU) in the working male class.

Then came our ONTARIO REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Craig Wandtke and Strauss von Lucescu won the Championships by 10 points.

They also received HIGH OBEDIENCE and HIGH TRACKING with a 99 point track. :)

Renee Lucescu and Xbox von Lucescu came 3rd.

Both qualify and are going to the Canadian National Championships in Edmonton this summer to represent ONTARIO.

Renee with Xbox and Craig with Strauss won the club challenge 2010 for highest scoring club combination scores.

Strauss von Lucescu also wins the OPTIMAL AWARD for ONTARIO 2010- this is an award that goes to the dog with the highest combination scores in the performance trial (276) as well as the show in the working class (V).

Then we had the Ontario Regional Show.
George with his Kennel "Vom Amalaberg" dominated the show and did really well.

Cathy and Richard Regan showed both their dogs, Lexi and Ikon and received an "SG" rating on both.

Natalia Kochtcheeva & Gerrie vom Amalaberg received an "SG" rating in 12-18 MONTH FEMALE class.

Renee Lucescu & Xbox von Lucescu received a "V" rating in the WORKING MALE class.

Craig Wandtke & Strauss von Lucescu received a "V" rating in theWORKING MALE class.

Renee & Halle van het Basjes Huis received an "SG" rating in OPEN FEMALE class.

The first thing that happened in our club this year was an early May seminar with Claudia Romard from U.S.A.
Claudia is originally from Germany and has been extremely successful in our sport. She was only 16 years old when she first qualified for the German National Championships (BSP).
We would like to thank Claudia for all her help and support to our members. We all really enjoyed her company and gained some special knowledge during the course of the seminar. We look forward to having Claudia come back and continue with the members to further advance their skills.
Everyone that attended this seminar was successful in their goals at our spring trial and Regional Championships.
